About Us
AB&T Telecom is a division of the AB&T Companies,
in business since 1963.
For over 40 years, AB&T has been working in electronics and technology
products and services. Today, AB&T Telecom functions as the technology solutions
arm of the AB&T Companies.
Our role is to construct telecommunications and technology solutions for small,
medium, large businesses and government customers, and then to deliver those
solutions efficiently through a network of technology partners. We work with
hundreds of technology partners nationally to deliver our solutions to the customer.
If a customer has an incumbent or preferred local solution provider, then we
will engage with that same provider to craft solutions from AB&T. Otherwise,
we may suggest a local partner in working with the customer. Either way, AB&T
will work hand in hand with the customer to arrive at a solution that works
for all stakeholders in the project.
AB&T Telecom’s competency focuses on the telecommunications core
of technology solutions. So whether it’s integrated data or voice solutions,
we focus more on the transport and management of the data and voice than the
actual hardware solutions. Our focus is further refined in our knowledge that
at the end of the day, it’s all data either way in an IP (Internet Protocol)
transit world.
We can provide solutions for one location of Internet Access or for 1000 locations
nationally or internationally. We can provide a solution for voice or for data,
or for voice/data/video all in one. We work with the world’s top data
and voice carriers like Qwest, MCI, Savvis, Verizon, Covad, Raindance and dozens
of others. We can even overlay your current data network with remote managed
services that allow you to gain full control of your network from bandwidth
to quality of service, user status and more, and then push that control right
down to your network administrators desktop.
Also, AB&T can back up all its network services with national Installation
and Maintenance. From programming and installing one router or phone system,
to tackling a campus, regional or national network of routers, VoIP systems,
servers or switches, we can handle your maintenance and installation requirements.

in 1998 as a follow on business to other services businesses AB&T succeeded
